SOme of them pass in Afghanistan or Iran but def not India (maybe northwest Pakistan) the ones that pass in India (north India) are the 1st third 5th 14th and the last one.

Many Bedouins do look South Asian to me, even though the genetics are very different.

I've seen a few malayalis(south india) and some hyderabadi muslims that can pass as arabs. Not too many, but some can look gulf arab.

no the light indians and arabs look different for the most part, but those two dudes in particular have those eyes/other features that I've seen in many indians. That's why I think they look the most south asian shifted in that group.

definitely. However i must admit that North Indians and punjabi people do resemble Saudi Arabs and I actually mistake Saudi with pakis/indians

yeah you're right. Its interesting though cause I've seen indians that resemble gulf arabs more often than indians that resemble afghans/iranians, even though geographically indians are closer to the latter.

What do you think of afghan Pashtun or Afghan Tajikistan people who do they resemble. I personally think that it’s very diverse with people from the the very centre of Afghanistan representing eastern Iranians whilst in the north people present much more European and in the south there is a mixture of iranic and a bit of Indic in people.

I think most afghans(pashtuns and tajiks) look similar to iranians. There are also many who resemble eastern pakistanis/northwest indians, other west asians, and southern europeans. It depends though i guess based on the region, ethnicity, etc. For the most part, I would say Iran is the best fit.

Yeah true. I think afghanistan is more diverse than iran though since Afghanistan also has the mongoloid population such as turkmens, uzbeks, and hazaras. Iran has some of these groups as well but not in a huge percentage.

Yeah man it’s amazing. Some afghans in the south also closely resemble Romani people and so do some northern Indians/Pakistanis. I think the north of India (very north) have a few people with genetic characteristics with afghans in the south, that’s why there are few people in India in the very north that resemble southern afghans and video versa. It’s crazy how boundaries affect phenotype. But in general yes afghans do resemble mainly Iranians and minutely southerners European stocks and north indians
