Hi all, So after some extensive reseach I found out my ydna results which were J2a1b1 M92. From what I read it says ancient greek and anatolian influence, would you say this is more or less right. Just trying to find a little more info on my background.

J2a-M92 is an old clade and probably came to Europe either during the late Neolithic from the Anatolia-Caucasus area or early Bronze Age from the Kura-Araxes. You would have to test further to find out what ethnicity your specific clade is linked to as M92 itself is too old to be linked to actual ethnicities, your clade could be from Hellenic, Italic or near eastern peoples

I would suggests you buying the Yseq J2-M172 superclade pack that will find your clade. It costs $99.

Thanks for the help. What brought me to this search was becasue after my ancestry DNA test my results had a spike in Caucasus and Middle East/North Africa. I was confused when I looked into the j2a1b1 m92 group most people said it was in Anatolia. I'm assuming that Haplogroup is found in both the Caucasus and Anatolia.

I’m a Cham Albanian and according to my MorleyDNA I too have this haplogroup, Any idea where it may be coming from? Possibly Greek or Italian influence in Epirus?
