I was watching videos about the language and found this vid. Is this guy like Paleo-Sardinian or Berid or something? He has a peculiar look. Different from mainland Italians from what I've seen. Quite low hairline and widows peak too.

Pigmentation is super dark for a European. I think he Can pass in Northern Africa as well.

Peculiar guy, I've seen this video sometimes ago, he also speaks so fast as if he's pursued by dogs :laugh:

Really? Gypsies usually have a lot of indid influence, however middleeasterns usually have a lot of ssa influence, would have thought middle eastern over gypsy (maybe levant countries)

No way, his face is distorted by the (wide-angle) camera lens. He is paleo-sardinian or berid.

From what I understand Sardinians are a very ancient population that were mostly untouched by mainland Europeans.

Very unlikely, the Sardinian language he speaks is a dialect of the mountains, a zone untouched by Carthaginians, Romans or Byzantines, he's perhaps pre-indoeuropean.
