The pic is not clear, but i think she looks Alpine or Alpine-Med. Pan-European look(and can pass in North-West Asia in some extent).

Not really, at least not as typical. I mean, she can pass but maybe as from southern Serbia.

She was born in Istria from Serbian-Dalmatian family, her family escaped from Dalmatia because they were Italian speakers and faithful at the Republic of Venice, Croats supported by Austria-Hungary occupied totally Dalmatia and most Italian/Serbian speakers were moved...
