Polish. She shares a family surname with my great-great-great grandmother, but I doubt she is related.

I might as well ask, can she pass in southern Italy and Iberia also? Or is Greece the best fit along with other Balkan nations?

I doubt it. Greeks are the darkest people in Europe. A lot of people don't realize how dark Greeks are. Seriously, look at pictures of Greeks on google images. If you thought Sicilians were dark they're nothing compared to Greeks.

You mean the photos full of refugees, Pontic Greeks (Hellenized Caucasus people), and God knows who else?

They don't look any darker than other Southern Europeans. That is normal South European pigmentation.

I'd say the majority of those images aren't Greek at all. If you google Germans or Dutch nationals your'e going to get a mix of ethnic groups within each country. Just like googling images of the US. What do you suppose you'll come up with? Anglo Saxons.

I doubt it. Greeks are the darkest people in Europe. A lot of people don't realize how dark Greeks are. Seriously, look at pictures of Greeks on google images. If you thought Sicilians were dark they're nothing compared to Greeks.
I doubt that you have ever been in Greece to know how Greeks look alike.
