These are screen shots from a Greek t.v. show that features folk music from different regions. The first group is from Tripolis, Arcadia Greece the second from Kalamata, Messinia. Curious if they can be distinguished. Pardon for the faulty images but these are screen shots.

I'm curious if you notice an increased Caucasus element in the Arcadian group which may be a reflection of the elevated and isolated (mountainous) ancient Neolithic influence and less recent; Italo (Venetian), Frank, Albanian or even Slavic influence.

I think all of the Peloponnese is the same, except for Mani and southeast Lakonia

You're probably right but I was just curious if anyone noticed any distinction since I have roots in both regions.
