He's probably from Morocco, a mix of Berber and Arab or African; I've seen other Moroccain Berbers with blond or red hair.

The guy below is a Moroccain who lives here in Sardinia, I think he's Berber, his surname is Lachguer, it doesn't sound Arab.

Berber yes, but I don't see any Arabian admixture. Maybe some SSA but I guess it's totally native. An old feature present among Berbers that doesn't necessarily imply a recent SSA input.

The Moroccan man you know is probably Berber from the Middle Atlas. His siblings and him have a typical Atlasian look. The same thing could be said about the kids from his village, especially their face shape and their eyes. https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?238218-Classify-that-guy

Note that even Moroccan Arabic-speakers are overwhelmingly Berbers from their Autosomal and mtDNA, and in most cases from their Y-DNA.
