And how heavy and does it snow only in the mountains or does it also snow in the lower altitudes? I think I saw a news article sometime ago about it snowing in La Paz.

I don't know if it snows in the Bolivian cities of Oruro and Potosi, or if it snows in large Peruvian or Ecuadorian cities, but snow is very common in the very high mountains of those three countries.

It does snow in the southern parts of Perú, like Puno. And it's freakin' cool.

How heavy does it snow? Why cool?

Can it also snow in Central parts such as Junin or Pasco?
