I think Duato is the Castilianized version of the Catalan surname Duat, a surname that could have passed to northern Catalonia via French Douard, of possible Germanic origin.

Yeah they have it on on one channel here. I´ve watched it sometimes. It´s a nice show. They also showed Los Serrano which, curiously enough, was somewhat of a "hit" here a few years back. :)

Btw, I met this guy IRL. He is almost 55 years old but looks 30 at best. I wish I was that fresh in his age.

I agree with Saruman. Something close to Nordid+CM. I dont see anything really mediterranean about her looks and if she was german nobody would neither but we all know how classifications work :D

I really like "Cuentame" too by the way. One of the few good spanish series
