A question for people here who are of wholly or almost wholly British descent. What is your percentage of French and German ancestry on 23andMe's ancestry composition?

Interesting. I'm trying to determine my ancestry. Specifically whether it's Anglo-Canadian or French-Canadian at this point. My percentage of French and German is about 16%, otherwise my results look typically Anglo

A full Englishman from East Anglia:

That's much higher French and German (and lower British and Irish) than even I have

"British and Irish" is represented by the Irish, so for English this is their Celtic ancestry.

My friend who is half English, 1/4 Welsh, 1/4 Irish got 72% British and Irish.
