We have stories that certain groups of Slavs came from Poland (Boiki) so Poland is not an accident.

But that's only autosomal mixture with those R1a people that came, we are paternally and autosomaly predominantly natives.

I am surprised that I don't score Serbia and Montenegro 5, but that's probably cause Serbia has some magyars.

Croatian 5 is a surprise, but that's because of Dalmatia probably.

In Israel South-Slavs are stereotyped as Russians lol. People here are sure that Bulgarians for example are just Russians that settled in the south haha. While the slavic invasion was from ukraine area, south-slavs have other southern European admix. But Israeli people aren't good in history :p

Excuse me for asking, but don't south slav have some Greek and Italian ancestry? I thought that the Balkan area was mainly roman before the Slavic invasion and that's why south slavs results I saw on gedmatch were about 50% North Greeks+ 50% Ukrainians.

Not really Roman, but Illyrian, Thracians and Dacian. southern Balkans has Greek. Paleo Balkan tribes very similar genetically to Italians, they were pred. southern European and that's where our southern admix come from.
