There have been two episodes thus far in this series, shown by the BBC featuring Scottish archaeologist, historian, author and broadcaster Neil Oliver. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Oliver)

For UK users- Episode 1 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00yk27f/A_History_of_Ancient_Britain_Series_1_Episode_1/)
Episode 2 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00ysr2l/A_History_of_Ancient_Britain_Series_1_Episode_2/)

For non UK users, here are the torrents in HD (if you have slow internet there are SD versions): Episode 1 (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6165142/A.History.Of.Ancient.Britain.S01E01.HDTV.XviD-FTP)
Episode 2 (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6181535/A.History.Of.Ancient.Britain.S01E02.HDTV.XviD-FTP)

Neil Oliver is one of the few honorable people on the BBC and I enjoy most of his work. Has also been known to make comments (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/3673179/Neil-Oliver-where-have-all-the-real-men-gone.html) that show he is somewhat traditionally minded, as you would expect of a man of his knowledge.

I will add links as the series progresses. Enjoy.

[speaking of his Grandads] "Yet I could write everything else I knew about them both on the back of an envelope."

That is one of the reasons for such a decline of 'manly men' in today's Britain.
It is extremely rare for Grandsons to know anything about their Grandfathers other than perhaps a few tales.

All I know about my Grandad's exploits during the war is that one had to be begged to stay out of the Merchant Navy as he had children to look after. He also saw Mussolini swinging from the gallows.
The other Grandad flew for the RAF and saw active duty. My Grandad literally killed other Grandads. :D

Probably the reason why we don't/didn't know much about them. Our granddads are/were very humble people.

Watched episode 3. The toilet and drainage at Skara Brae. I've seen worse toilets abroad nowadays! great programme.

I've read about the ancient footprints in the mud. If it's the same locale, there was an adult set and a child's set if I remember correctly (haven't watched the Youtube vid yet).

Edit: Just watched--yup, that's it. Great stuff.
