Media Lies....Again!

I have written previously about how the media deliberately distorts the image of the BNP. They desperately try to portray the party's members as being skinheads and thugs ie. the tired old media stereotype of the far-right. In order to illustrate my point have a look at the following images, published on the Independent's website (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/alarm-over-rise-of-bnp-1628227.html) which I have just saved:

Click on the above images to enlarge them.

Underneath the second image is the following caption: 'BNP supporters out in force in Leeds in 2005'. However, if one examines the photograph, it is obvious that the people pictured are members of the Nationalist Alliance. The Sun Wheels are another give away.

It is said that 'a picture is worth a thousand words' and sadly, at least in this instance, it is true.

Well noticed my friend. But really, we must expect an enormous amount of lies, deception and defamation over the coming months. The BNP threaten the very foundations of our unjust Establishment and they'll go to any length to suppress.

If a seemingly neutral establishment teaches people to fear the far right, you can bet it's the far left you should actually be afraid of.

Please read the following article on the BNP's website, as it provides a link and the necessary instructions to complain. All one needs to do is cut and paste the information provided.

and the Independent got caught and has now cropped the picture to exclude the parts saying nationalist alliance on it, but still captions it as "BNP supporters". If the press complaints commission doesn't take them to task over this it will show them up as a joke as well.

Completely unbelievable.

A Labour activist, Lesley Dyball, claimed that BNP supporters chanted “blacks out” after the result was declared at Swanley Town Hall.
A likely story.

People will use the BNP as a protest vote, esp after what's happened in Kent after Labour lost their seat.

-----------------------------

A former minister has warned that the UK's main parties are "complacent" about the British National Party, after the BNP won a local election victory.

Labour MP Peter Hain told the BBC that Labour's own supporters were being targeted by the far-right.

He said the government needed to make sure local, rather than foreign, workers were prioritised for jobs.

A BNP leader said the recession had helped the party win because potential supporters were being hit hardest.

Mr Hain was speaking after the BNP won a seat at a by-election for Sevenoaks Council in Kent.

The credit crunch... is no longer a spectator sport and it is starting to hurt our people very hard
NP deputy leader Simon Darby

The seat, in the Swanley St Mary's ward, was previously held by a Labour councillor.

BNP candidate Paul Golding received 408 votes, beating Labour's Mike Hogg by 86 votes.

Mr Golding said local young people has voted BNP because they found it "almost impossible" to get a council house. He blamed a policy that allocated council houses to "foreigners and asylum seekers".

Mr Hain said: "All political parties, but especially the Labour party, have got to prioritise the fight against the BNP.

He said there was a "real danger" of complacency in the Labour party.

"It is areas when Labour has traditionally been strong - like Swanley - where the BNP has been making a great deal of headway and exploiting fears and spreading their racist and fascist beliefs."

"We need to take them on at the grass roots level and as a government we need to be making sure that we address the fears the BNP are exploiting."

BNP deputy leader Simon Darby said the recession and people's fears about the economy were the main factor in its victory - which the party has hailed as a "significant breakthrough" in south east England.

Foreign workers

He said: "The credit crunch - or the depression as it now is, is no longer a spectator sport and it is starting to hurt our people very hard."

Mr Darby said the party - which says it has about 100 council seats in Britain - was looking forward to the European parliament elections in June.

"We will do very nicely indeed," he predicted.

Mr Hain denied that Gordon Brown's speech in which he promised "British jobs for British workers" had helped the BNP to win.

Instead he blamed the controversy over foreign companies who brought their own workers into Britain, rather than employing local people.

He said he "did not believe" assurances that the companies were not undercutting local wages and ignoring nationally-agreed pay and conditions agreements.

Giving local people the first chance to apply for new jobs should be a "priority" Mr Hain added.

The Conservative MP for Sevenoaks, Michael Fallon, described the BNP's victory as "worrying".

As my family over here are far right Republicans, I'm sure we'd be far right BNP over there. After a few hundred years here, we're still
utterly pro British Empire, even now that there's not an Empire anymore, but a Commonwealth.

I have just read the first couple of paragraphs of the following article:

More than 1,000 complaints to PCC over Independent BNP story
Oliver Luft
guardian.co.uk, Tuesday 24 February 2009 12.26 GMT
Article history

The Press Complaints Commission has received more than 1,000 complaints, the biggest ever number over a single article, after the British National party led an orchestrated campaign for its supporters to contact the watchdog over a picture that appeared in the Independent.

The PCC says it has received an unprecedented number of complaints because of a BNP campaign over a picture that appeared on pages 4 and 5 of Saturday's Independent, with the caption: "BNP supporters out in force in Leeds in 2005". The picture, which accompanied an article titled "Alarm over rise of BNP", has since been removed from the newspaper's website.

I am not sure whether to read on and depress myself, it is The Guardian after all and there will be an anti-BNP slant in there somewhere.

A big thank you to all who sent a complaint!

That's incredible. One gets the impression that the BNP's ranks are enormously determined and focussed of late. The urgency of our plight seems to be hitting home and most of all, people are completely fed up with the mainstream media (and perhaps much of the Establishment). Only thing that worries me is repercussions. News like this serves as a warning shot to the opposition and gives them time to adjust their defense accordingly.
