Here is my 23andme closest genetic match.
Robert is my 70 year old half Jewish 1st cousin, and he's VERY closely related to me, compared to all other matches.
Robert has no clue who his birth father is.
Included is his maternal and paternal haplogroups, and our side by side genetic comparison.
What shared relative of ours is a gentile?
For this mystery, I need Sikeliot level advice.:D

Looks half Jewish, half Euromutt (NW Euro + Italiano). A New Yorker, I would guess.

NJ.
Who said you're related through your gentile side? I think you're most likely related through your Jewish side.

He looks half Jewish, 1/4 South Italian and 1/4 North European to me. The MENA is actually likely from the Italian side because you do not score as much -- the Ashkenazi cluster sucks up all the MENA in you.

My guess is that his mother is Jewish, and his father is the son of a NW Euro father and an Italian mother. What ethnicity is his last name?

His Ashkenazi last name is from the man that raised him, the man wasn't his real dad.
I think I figured the out mystery.
He's my half uncle from my maternal grandfathers side, 23andme has no half uncle category, so they lumped him in as a first cousin..
My maternal grandfather was likely adopted and fully gentile.
My maternal granddad had an affair 70 years ago, and this child was raised by his mistress and kept hidden until today.
So far my new relatives I have just met have found out about our ancient Irish lines.
Checkout this guys daughters 23andme score compared to mine.;)

Why do you think this? Are you not matching with any relatives of his parents?

His paternal side could be non-Jewish going by the Haplogroup

Update...:picard2:
My maternal great grandmother was fully gentile and an illegal alien from Aberdeen Scotland.
She appears to come from an ancient Scotch-Irish line.
The guy credited on paper with being my maternal great-grandfather, was not the paternal biological relative of my grandfather.
My maternal grandfather was a gentile.
The close genetic relative of mine that I posted from 23andMe is my half uncle from a secret affair my grandfather had in 1949.
He never knew his real birth father and I have helped him solve the mystery after 70 years.
I still haven't tracked the actual ancestry of my paternal great grandfather.

Robert the guy who is half Jewish and posted on the top of this page, is my half uncle, from a hidden affair of my grandfathers in 1949.
We're both related via my maternal granddad.
I thoroughly checked all my other grandparents and all are Jewish.
My maternal grandad was born to a Scottish mother from the Clan Davidson.
Both my grandfather and his sister were raised by a Jewish guy who was falsely credited to be my great-grandad.
