Something interesting for you folk.
I ran all the top bell beakers on k13 Eurogenes, 19 were very good samples. :)
Only 1 Bell beaker scored East Med and his Ydna was an older Neolthic one compared to all the other bell beakers too. :)
And the only Briton in the Iron age who scored East Med was U-152.
Maybe it has discussed elsewhere, I dont know. But the fella is highlighted.

East Med and West Med in ancient samples are kinda misleading. It’s both mostly coming from Anatolian farmers in Northern Europe.

This Beaker is the rarer samples to not score any west Med.
Should it not be r1a1a in the Ydna column? I did download that info a while ago. Maybe it updated. Don't know.

East Med and West Med in ancient samples are kinda misleading. It’s both mostly coming from Anatolian farmers in Northern Europe.
To be fair, the calculator is labeled from the time on modern samples. So it was probably based on say W Med is Sardinian. It is more my fault for even using it. :P

Something interesting for you folk.
I ran all the top bell beakers on k13 Eurogenes, 19 were very good samples. :)
Only 1 Bell beaker [namely I1767] scored East Med and his Ydna was an older Neolthic one compared to all the other bell beakers too. :)
And the only Briton in the Iron age who scored East Med was U-152.
^^^
It is no coincidence - I1767 had more of British Neolithic ancestry than all others.
He was 1/4 Neolithic British and as you noticed his Y-DNA was also Neolithic I2a.

The British beakers seemed a lot nicer than the spanish, obviously not killing off all the native men and raping the women. They also let some of the men have children with beaker girls. Perhaps they went to war in spain, but their where so few in britain (climate change, disease etc) that they just assimilated them.
