Nearly half of Yamnaya's DNA comes from Caucasus Hunter Gatherers and on Dodecad K12b this always shows up as "Gedrosia" when Yamnaya samples are run through this calculator on Gedmatch. However, this component is mostly absent in Eastern Europe/modern day Slavs who are predominantly carriers of haplogroup R1a. Why do Slavs lack this component that is found in the rest of Europe?
We don't. My father is mostly Belorussian, he gets 5% Gedrosia on K12b

If you look at the Dodecad k12b spreadsheet Poles, Russians, and Ukrainians almost completely lack this component.

The K12b sheet is quite inaccurate. At least for some ethnic groups it's completely off. The Belorussian average is very unrepresentative.

Large percentages of gedrosia is pretty alien to europe. CHG might be the caucasus component I guess

So could the CHG component in Eastern Europe be represented more as "Caucasus" on Dodecad k12b or would that come from the farmers?

I think Gedrosia is Iran Chacolithic and Caucasus is CHG proper.

Gedrosia is some kind of Iran_Neo / Brahui component, peaks around Baluchistan / Makran region
