I'm assuming he is Turkish (and male) because of his name.

Breakdown:

28.4% Greek,
20.3% West Asian,
13.4% Middle East,
10.0% North African,
6.2% Iberian,
6% Italian,
5.2% Somali,
5% Maasai,
2.3% Nigerian,
2.2% West African,
1% Kenyan

He hasn't stated whether he has any known African ancestry. Nevertheless these are interesting set of results. Around 20% Sub-Saharan African!

Gypsies are like this to, very evenly spread out over large parts of the world. This guy basically touches every part of the ottoman empire. Even the ottoman port of Kismayo in somalia lol. Interesting to say the least. i would love to see a picture of him.

I'd love to know whether he knew he had such substantial African ancestry. The Iberian is quite surprising too. The Spanish never set foot on Cyprus from what I remember

The mediterrenean has had people going from everywhere to everywhere in all of its history. Who knows what Guy de Lusignan brought with him from west mediterrenean. Or maybe he has spaniard muslim blood. When the ottomans came, many muslims from spain fled to the new territories of the ottoman empire.

Sure, but he doesn't look it. At first glance he looked South Asian to me

Eritrea/Ethiopia would be my best guess.

He's simply a Cypriot with significant African admix, possibly recent.

Interesting . To my eyes he wouldn't pass as Cypriot _ Phenotypically wise* , though i am certain that you can find such faces of Cypriots in the Greek part too. Makes them look like flies in the milk among others , but still modern day Cypriots do not care for colors and phenotypes . They are all one big family ...

He probably put Cypriot to make shit less complicated. But his SSA admix is obvious
