Minusta tuo valokuva on kaikessa karuudessaan erittäin vaikuttava, ja lisäksi ajankohtainen. Paljoa klamuuria siitä ei tietenkään löydy, mutta toisaalta en ole J-Tuk.

Tsekatkaa megafoni: valkoisella tarramuovilla on peitetty tekstit. Miksi? Follow the money, kuten sanonta kuuluu. Viiden pisteen vihje. Nämä orgasointipuheet pidettiin aina ensin suomeksi, sitten ruotsiksi, ja lopuksi englanniksi.

The snow depth record was registered in Lapland,at the same time the south coast was snowless. One winter in decade we don't get snow or get it very little.

Yes, those who denies global warming ... uses example like this (Lapland). But with snow ... it doesn't matter are there -15C or -25C (Lapland) ... all rain will come down as snow anyway.

But if the temperature is already quite close to zero (like it was many areas in Finland last winter?) .... few degrees (even one) might have huge impacts. My understanting is that it still rained normally/quite much in Finland? Good to keep in minds: 1mm normal rain will mean 10 times more snow ... about 1cm.

That is exactly how it works. A huge difference between -5 C and +5 C.

Half of those black-and-white-era Finnish actors have dark hair too. Maybe they just chose people who looked exotic as actors, or who looked the same way actors looked in foreign films.

This is a photo of Forest Finns from 1930. The girl on the right looks foreign not only because of the dark hair, but also because she has gracile med-like morphology of the face and body. The girl on the left looks very anti-foreign and distinctily Finnish-like, not only because of the light hair, but also because of the round face and low nasal bridge.

https://www.kuvakokoelmat.fi/pictures/small/SUK3/SUK334_113.jpg
https://www.kuvakokoelmat.fi/pictures/view/SUK334_113

I think how foreign people look probably has a distribution like a normal distribution. In the same way that a few percent of Finns look very foreign, a few percent of Finns also look very anti-foreign and even more Finnish than typical Finns. Average Finns look more foreign than anti-foreign Finns.

I think how foreign people look probably has a distribution like a normal distribution. In the same way that a few percent of Finns look very foreign, a few percent of Finns also look very anti-foreign and even more Finnish than typical Finns. Average Finns look more foreign than anti-foreign Finns.

They didn't look like your selection. I have shown old pictures from Satakunta to Oulu. I can show same pictures again, usual workmen, rags, lower class people.

Here is an example how old ragged Finnish people looked. I have these pictures maybe hundreds. Richer people had a bit more flesh on cheeks, not much. But you have your "forest people" narratives and I know that you prefer to believe in it and utilize prejudices of people who know little about Finland.

Of course the there was also broad faces etc., because the eastern influence from the 16th century took place especially in inlands, but they were not original Finns. What happened during the Swedish-Russian wars was similar to the event of "Forest Finns" in Sweden; a racial mixture of so called Laplanders and Karelians moved westwards while the Russian srmy pushed original Finns as immigrants to Sweden. If you wish, you can pretend that mixed Saami-Karelian people are original Finns, although this admixture is only 400-500 years old. However the seaside mostly saved from this invasion to the beginning of the 20 century. Funny how you play using present-day administrative regions instead of old historical provinces, so why not to take Ostrobothnian examples from the Russian border where people still carry Saami surnames:

Again, your dishonesty in your way to reckon the Finnish history is same as usual.

For comparison, original East Finns - Izhorians. They are not mixed Laplanders:

A tree picture figuring the HG N. You see the Finnish branch which came from Estonia, Karelian branch which came from Russia and a pseudo branch named Savonian. Actually it is a branch of Laplanders, who mixed with Karelians after the Swedish second Crusade. Swedes subjugated Orthodox Karelians and moved them to the bsckwoods of East Finland, to the Lanlanders' lands. The plan was to "tame" Laplanders and get more taxes.

The fundamental fallacy of anthrotardism is that differences in phenotype are caused by differences in admixture.

Actually Eastern Finns look the same as Western Finns:

https://i.imgur.com/hA7TnrA.gif

When I made the morphs above, I excluded players whose place of birth was listed as Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, or Tampere.

The Western Finnish morph has a slightly higher distance between the eyebrows and the eyes (which indicates higher orbits), higher upper eyelid eposure, and lower canthal tilt. However it could be partially because of differences in camera angle. The Western Finnish morph also has a slightly lower vertical position of the ears, which is a sign of a lower camera angle.

There's even a black equivalent of a Uralic-like type (wide face and chinky eyes) and an anti-Uralic type (narrow face and woggy eyes):

The numbering of Swedish crusades varies. The Swedish history speaks about three crusades, but the first one is not proven in literature. Following Swedish numbering the first one was against West Finns, the second one against Tavastians and the third one against Karelians. Actually we had three proven crusades too. The first against Tavastians, the second one against Karelians and the third one to capture the Bothnian Bay from Novgorodians and their allies, White Sea Karelians. All four crusades have figured in Swedish sources. The Treaty of Nöteborg was made after the Swedish Bothnian Bay operation, but it didn't solve things and wars continued in this area almost 300 years.

Here explained. The crusade against Karelians was 1293, against Bothnian Bay also 1293. The Nöteborgs treaty was 1323. The disputed first crusade was 1150.

In the Vasa age Swedes stabilized East Finland by moving occupied Katelians there to tame Laplanders (South Saamis if you wish).

https://www.tacitus.nu/historical-atlas/scandinavia/s2.htm

Those Saamis were not reindeer herders, but moving people without farms. They cultivated crop plants, but practiced hunting in winter selling furs to Finnish, Swedish and German traders. They had separated summer and winter cottages. The Swedish taxing logic required that all people were land owners, registered and bound to the system.

My ancestors were those first Birkarls who occupied the piece of the seaside of the Bothnian Bay in 1293. They were Christian warriors from Satakunta and crusaders (first Birkarls) who dispelled pagan White Sea Karelians.

Originally the animal of the coat of arms of Finland was a bear. In some event it was modified and changed to a lion. Here is an original coat of arms of Satakunta. Finland consisted of two provinces: Finland proper and Satakunta.

The coat of arms of Satakunta on the left, Finland Proper on the right. You see the Swedish flag. This was probably the first time the Swedish flag was invented, and it happened in Finland!

Saana (Northern Sami: Sána) is a fell in Enontekiö, Finland. Saana's summit lies 1,029 metres (3,376 ft) above sea level and 556 m (1,824 ft) above the adjacent Kilpisjärvi lake.[2] Geologically it is part of the Scandinavian Mountains, and is made of the same kinds of schist and gneiss rock.[2] The mountain was historically considered sacred to the Sami people.[2] The peak is a popular destination for hikers and backpackers because of the sweeping views offered at the summit.[2]

In December 2017, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Finland's independence, Saana was lit with blue light. The area illuminated covered roughly 2.5 million square meters, making it the largest art illumination in the world.[3]

A bit more about this. We have also in Finland (not only in Russia sometimes) demonized and orthodox histories. The orthodox one changes over time, but today Finnish researchers are especially prone to create new views by forbidding old facts and creating new preferable narratives. It is a turning point where old proved things are actively forgotten (not even digested) yielding to a new ideology. As always when this happens it happens also that many kind of nutcases start to create fairy tales.
