I do think that the Northern Greek could be a Greek from Western Macedonia because of the very typical "Caucasus" result in Greeks, Central, South Italians (ancient Anatolian) compared to Albanians and/or South Slavs which is typically lower (5-8%). I agree the Europe East is "out of the norm" high for a Greek mainlander Northern or otherwise.

to me its not a problem. on the international level it becomes one when you forge history out of insecurity, in order to dissociate Macedonia from anything Greek. You are creating a new conflict with important social, geopolitical and economic consequences.

I am against forgeries and in favour of internationally recognised positions. Macedonia cannot be disassociated from Greek history and current reality. It’s all being ironed out as we speak.
