I think you meant Oghuz*. Also, none Anatolian Turk is pure Turkic, far from it. My point is that anyone who doesn't fit the stereotype they have in mind, is considered "Turkified Balkan" or something similar. It's not new to me see Balkan/Greek users here always accusing someone from being "stolen european baby" or janissary, even when the individual in particular looks very typical.

It existed but didn't affect Turkish gene pool much. Most janissaries weren't allowed to marry in the first place.

The right hand of Suleiman was greek from parga....
Barbarosa captain was albanian and greek....

It's also common in Bursa(where my parents are from), and i'm sure there are more provinces where it can be found in abundance. Also, as Proud Human stated, the OP girl is from Eastern Anatolia so...
