North Atlantid-Dinarid. He looks Irish to me.

This phenotype is rather uncommon in Greece. Interestingly the last name ends in -idis, denoting possible pontic ancestry.

He is long headed so I'm tempted to say Atlantid He could pass in Northern Italy, France, even possibly British Isles. All that being said he looks Greek as well. He resembles my uncle (mother's brother).

Leptoprosopic Nordic type.
This is a look I've often observed among British, Irish and Dutch people.
In the sense of being long-faced, with a narrow forehead and straight nose, he is also similar to this Portuguese from Tras os Montes Coon included in his gallery of "exotic Nordics" (meaning Nordic phenotypes found in regions distant from the Nordic center):

Very untypical Greek.
I think he is not Greek.
Maybe he is Bulgarian.

He looks very Western European so he certainly does not look more Bulgarian rather than Greek...

Maybe one of the 1000s of descendants of this bunch who bred into the Greek population:

He can also be some of the celtic populations who hellenized during the hellenistic years of Alexander and later with Roman empire.
Cappadocians, some Pontic Greeks, and and Asia minor Greeks have assimilated the gauls of anatolia

Frdfgcg's comment is indeed exaggeration (Greeks certainly have such types) but I don't agree with your remark either - Bulgaria has no less phenotypes passable in Western Europe than Greece does.
