As the title says, try to classify these Corsican men. Watching them through my eyes of Sardinian I could mistake all of them for Sardinians, they could pass everywhere in our island.

These are all Corsicans as well. There is a strong Alpine element in Corsicans, uncommon in Sardinians, and understated in old anthropological studies.

These are all Corsicans as well. There is a strong Alpine element in Corsicans, uncommon in Sardinians, and understated in old anthropological studies.

Let's say 50/50%, the more you go northwards, the more they can look more similar to Italians, expecially the north-eastern area which was more exposed to Pisan influence in the middle ages, as we can also see in the map of Corsican dialects, more you go northwards more the language sounds similar to Italian.

When i went to Corsica I saw many similar to 3 and 5.
Among the fishermen and people inAjaccio I saw a certain number of Alpines, and blondes too. Bastia (seemed closer to italians) This series is mainly Mediterranean some Alpine influences maybe (nr7?)

I don't know if fishermen can be considered a good term of reference. For example, if you try to analize Sardinians just watching the fishermen in the coastal towns, you would be surely badly misguided, since the near totality of fishermen have non-Sardinian origins; among the fishermen in the eastern coast you can find a lot of people from Campania or from the island of Ponza in Latium, along the northwestern coast you can find many Ligurian surnames, etc.etc. The only places in Sardinia with an indigenous seafaring tradition are surely Cagliari in the south, or Bosa along the central-western coast. Think that until 50 years ago Sardinians didn't exploit the sea, we didn't fish, we didn't go to the sea etc.etc. since our traditional culture is strictly agro-pastoral, the same in Corsica, which is also more mountainous, wild and wooded than Sardinia, it could be possible that many of the fishermen have non-Corsican origins, and they are more likely Ligurians or Tuscans (expecially in Bastia).
