im making traditional Veracruzano food, its the best in Mexico imo
its rare out here in southern california, but the closest to Veracruzano food is food from Guerrero and Yucatan, both use fried plantains, white rice, yuca, sweet potatoes etc

i will take pictures later when its all done

that is what african slaves would eat in the New World since they were limited, and not to mention it was healthy, it would give them strength
