I don't think all countries still truly understand the connection between healthy school food and students learning results.

And like many times with humans food .... the ''healthy food'' is not the same as the most ''delicious one''.

Like Finns are known for their sour milk and mämmi. Healthy, but an acquired taste.

Also, I don't like the taste of rye bread, it's difficult for me to eat.

Jamie Oliver visited once in Finland...to get know more about Finland's school foods. Afterwards he tried to bring some of those healthy foods back into UK. Local students still did't like them.


In Finland school foods are free (society costs them...via tax money).
