BUENOS AIRES, Argentina— Argentina’s Jewish political umbrella organization is taking legal action against a national television newscaster who used anti-Semitic canards during recent broadcasts.

Santiago Cuneo said last week in several episodes of his daily TV show “1+1=3” on cable news channel Cronica TV that Israel sends its soldiers to search the south of the country; made reference to the “Andinia plan” which claimed a Jewish plot to break off and form a Jewish province in the country; and questioned the loyalty of the country’s Jewish leadership to Argentina.

BUENOS AIRES — A teacher in a Catholic high school in Buenos Aires repeated anti-Semitic stereotypes and said Hitler did “good things” in a lesson caught on camera.

History teacher Denise Yanet Evequoz told her students that Hitler was demonized when the United States entered World War II and seemed to justify why Europe was “always anti-Semitic.”

“Jews took advantage of the people who needed money, they loaned the money and then they chased them to get their money back, always with interest. They had the money but they did not help Germany improve. They did not help the people to generate employment nor to create industries. This generated a certain hatred towards Jews,” Evequoz said in a lesson recorded in 2015, which was posted on social media this week.

I'm more appalled by the teacher claiming there is something wrong with charging interest on loans. How are you suppose to get a loan from someone who has no reason to risk giving you money if there is no interest applied? It would be stupid to do so and people do need loans for various reasons (example, farmers may not have the funds to buy seeds and then repay there loan after harvest).

Its a shame seeing their level of power even in Argentina, a country I've always admired and plan to visit one day. I've researched about the Ardinia Plan and its definitely true. I don't know if its a conscious plan written up, but the amount of Israelis "vacationing" there and buying up property points to a reality that can't be dismissed as "conspiracy theory". But of course, "anti-Semitism" is nothing but a slogan nowadays, meant to quash dissent to any concerted action by a collective Jewish group and not just individuals. They may have the legislators and the power of the purse behind them (as Herzl famously wrote), but instinctively the masses know - and the more they react to the smallest criticism, the more they actually validate what these "anti-Semites" claim.
