Goebbels was very German looking for me, i don't know why but it is maybe because of his very thin lips and robust face

According to Nazi-era German-Austrian anthropologists, the Mediterranean phenotype is one of the six phenotypes of the German people. So yes, a German mediterranean type can be considered German-looking exactly as much as a Nordic one. Apparently Nazis were less insecure than some users of today, and did not deny the existence of these types among themselves.

I think he is definitely some type of Med with a small amount of Central European influence. If you look at both of his brothers (Hans Goebbels and Konrad Goebbels) they also look Mediterranean. Hans may even look more Mediterranean in some photos than Joseph. Although his sister looks like she has some alpine influence.

So, I do think he looks like he could pass in Italy. Maybe not south Italy. He isn’t a robust med, he is slightly more dainty looking. Short stature, very thin. I believe all of his relatives were also quite thin.

I would've thought his broad, large head is a Dinarid trait, as alpines are shorter headed. I would say he is Atlantid overall with some Nordid touches.

The Mediterranean look can be very attractive. That male example looks very handsome. If they're insecure about it then they surely have issues. I commend the Nazis here for not being totally stupid.
