Where do you think they could fit/pass as a group?

Armenoids, asiatic-Alpine, very few anadolids, pontids

I see scattered Central Asian influences, a lot of Irano-Afghan and Armenoid, and some Pontid.

I would never mistake these people for Greeks, Balkan Slavs, nor Italians, and not even as individuals would most of them pass.

I see nothing Central-Asian(that admixture almost inexistent in that region) nor Iranid. I see strong Caucasus influence. That is from a province closer to Georgia, so i wouldn't expect he will look like Greeks or whatever.

A lot of the Irano-Afghan is in the men in the photos, like these:

Not one of those pictures is a good example of an Irano afghan. Those are south eastern Iranians, which are really Pakistanis. Neither of them has that Iranian look. Irano Afghans have a longer and rectangular face which is narrower than both of their faces.

These people were classified as Irano-Afghan y many, thats why i cited them. I don't found much about that, and i thought "Iranid" and "Irano-Afghan" were two distinct phenotypes.

Also, i never said Iranians looked like them.

The first example looks nothing like an Irano afghan. Broad and rounded head, most likely a pakistani with Indus Valley admixture. Nothing about him seem Irano afghan. The second one is more of a better example but not a pure Irano afghan, lots of foreign admixtures. Irano afghans are similar to pontids/atlanto meds, its the narrow and rectangular structure that signifies them

This guy is East Iranid, no?
I don't think that most of these people look alike as a group, but thanks for the input.

East Iranid doesn't look like that, its closer to South Asian phenotypes which really exists in South eastern Iran. He has the typical pan west Asian look. Can pass in Afghanistan, Iran and other countries in West asia. The overall facial structure is Irano afghan.

The groups don't have a uniform look, that's the point. You can find alpines, pontids, Irano afghans/Iranid, armenoids, east med and turanids all in one picture. You can pick out individuals

East-Med is dolichocephalic, these people seem to be mainly brachy. Also, i see Taurids rather than actual Armenoids.

I thought only Gracile-Meds are predominantly the doli meds, and the rest, such as Pontid and Atlanto-Meds would be towards the meso side on the spectrum. I would say East-Meds may vary as they are mixed with the local Asiatic Alpines, Anatolids, Armenoids and even Turanids, who are mostly on the brachy side. Some will be dolis, yes, but the rest are pretty much between meso and brachy due to influence of other surrounding phenotypes.

You're right that your examples are more Taurid in appearance than classically Armenoid.

What do you say of robust Iranids then? They are more broader faced and are an Iranid subtype.

As far as i know, it's dolicho but i have seen people saying this phenotype don't exists.

Yes, Pontid is a particular kind of Med and it is meso, Anadolid is East-Med altered by Armenoid/Taurid, and it's usually long-faced type, AFAIK. And yeah, you is right, but if they are mixed then wouldn't be "East-Meds" anymore, no?

Robust Iranids are commonly seen in western Iran. They are common amongst Iranian Kurds and Turkish Kurds. Robust Iranids look more like atlanto meds due to their robust features while Irano afghans are more like pontids due to their soft and narrow features.

This thread has a good example of a robust Iranid.
