[Heather Duval]

Santa Teresa (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈsɐ̃tɐ teˈɾezɐ] ) is the name of a neighborhood in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is located on top of the Santa Teresa hill, by the centre of Rio, and is famous for its winding, narrow streets which are a favourite spot for artists and tourists.

Yes, Rio de janeiro is diverse, but in richest hoods u gonna found a majority white population. America Latina is not like USA, where people were divided by races and not Socioeconomic status. Santa Teresa/Rio is White, Black and tri racial.

Yes. The recent immigrants of the 19th and 20th century came to the north zone and center of Rio. Carmen Miranda family is one of them. Zona Sul is practically people who have lived there for centuries.

Vdd, 1/5 dos apartamentos é habitado por uma classe media alta quebrada. Os outros 4/5 são ricos esnobes que eu não iria querer viver perto.
