I received lots of Emails from Google, 23andme, and all those other companies, saying they adjust now their privacy data regulations to the new EU law. Now on 23andme its possible to request your data they saved you as, I requested it already. Its a way to get more transparent. I will receive my data 23andme has about my profile with email in a few days.

I don't like this law. It's already forced several genealogy websites to shut down.

Is this actually a big deal at all? We had some big copyright thing pass a year or two ago and nothing changed at all. Literally not even going to be enforced.

The only change I've seen to the Internet ever from a law is when the EU passed that privacy thing so you get a gay little message on every website saying you consent to having your data stolen.
