So akin to this guy (https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?246411-Classify-Italian-mayor) I posted yesterday, but with stronger Alpine element and less Dinaric I suppose.

Do you have examples of a similar phenotype among Germans?

He is Alpine and has a slight Alemannic admixture - this is Southwest-German or Swiss. (everyone of us is mixed - no one is 100 % pure ;) ..)

Alpine with a little Norid. Looks German to me as well.

So far I have seen this phenotype in NW Italy only that's why I was asking for Germanic examples with a similar vibe.

Alemannic admix is plausible, he comes from a place near Gressoney which is Walser..

Swiss French or better Swiss German. Of course he can pass as German, but imo his face is more typical for the Alps.

Walser can be much more nordic looking than that.

Voglio dire, magari lo č anche di origine Walser, ma non credo sia necessario avere chissą quale admix germanica in pił per avere questo fenotipo.

Name is Vicquery, from Brusson in a different valley from Gressoney's Walsers but who knows over the centuries there might have been some contacts/leakage between the communities..

His phenotype is nothing unusual for his ethnicity, in the next days I will post more extreme examples from Aosta Valley.

After seeing some photos I have come to the conclusion that phenotypically his closest match are the Romansch. The vast majority of them can perfectly pass as Aostans, I reckon none of the Romansch in this photo couldn't pass:

Other example:

Despite the (relative) distance, both Aostans and Romansch seem to have similar proportions of similar components making them fall into the same phenotypical spectrum.

This does not apply to Swiss French and Swiss German because:

- Swiss French have too much atlantid/baskid influence on average coupled with little to no dinaricism (see here (https://cdn-s-www.ledauphine.com/images/EE49DEED-BB87-4474-8759-D68C53A7616E/FB1200/photo-1396986723.jpg))

- Swiss German have too many faelids/subnordids and different vibe in general (though interestingly few of them were sort of approaching the individual I posted)

Alpinid + North Pontid. Passes fine in Central Europe.
