Early Europid influence in Aralid / Turanid is from Steppe people. Turanid can fit among many phenotypes tho, but many Central Asians tend to be Pamirid or Irano-Turanids because of the assimilation of the local Iranic population.

No, Iranian steppe people had a pontid - north pontid phenotypes. Pontid is sometimes classified as a northern Iranian phenotype.
Iranid is an off-shoot of pontid, they can look extremely similar depending on foreign admixture. Both are narrow headed and high headed. Scythians, sarmatians to the west of the Caspian sea were pure Iranians and were mostly composed of pontids and east Mediterranean.

Pontid itself is derived from a mixture of corded. Proto Iranians were related to the corded people of north eastern Europe.
