He would be on the darker side here on the Italian side. Looks kind of Mexican, but this is a good thing at fitting in at least he looks more than just Italian ,, passing as multiple people is a good survival tool I think.

I think he is just an outlier. I have seen a small number of Sicilians (like 1%) who are so dark they could pass as Afghan or Pakistani, maybe he is that rare outlier.

His Wiki says he's half British. I really think something is there. It's not the pigmentation. It's something about the eyes, nose, and mouth that really stand out.
