King George VI, ruler of Great Britian 1936-1952:

King George VI was 1/8 Hungarian via the paternal grandmother of Queen Mary, a commoner. The rest of his ancestry was from a narrow group of sovereign Protestant German families.

The Queen was Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon the daughter of a Scottish earl, though in reality they had married English women for several generations & were basically English with a castle in Scotland. There was some mystery surrounding the birth of the late Queen Mother, e.g. late registration & in the wrong district, the family made little fuss about her arrival not making the usual announcements in the Times or other societal journals of the day. She bore a striking resemblance to some extended members of Britians royal family, such as this woman:

The Grand Duchess Elizabeth of Russia, a member of the Hesse-Darmstadt family by birth & a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. When Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon married into the Royal Family in 1923, it would have been unusual for either the heir or the spare to be allowed to marry a woman as lowborn (compared to the Royals) as the Queen Mother would appear to have been. As for as classification it only matters in that the Queen's official ancestors were English or possible the actual ones were Germans from the same small group of sovereign Protestant families as King George.
