How come North Caucasians are genetically closer to Middle Easterns rather than Eastern Europeans?

Most common phenotypes among North Caucasians people are Caucasid, Alpinid, Turanid, Dinarid, Norid, Baltid, East Nordid, Pontid, North Pontid and Armenoid.

Most common phenotypes among Eastern Europeans are Baltid, Gorid, Alpinid, Dinarid, Norid, East Nordid, Pontid and North Pontid.

Most common phenotypes among Middle Easterns are Iranid, Arabid, Cappadocid (halfway between Iranid and West Mediterranid), Alpinid, Armenoid and Assyroid.

In other words, the only two common types between North Caucasians and Middle Easterns are Armenoid and Alpinid. However, there are seven phenotypes which are commong in both North Caucasians and Eastern Europeans. They are Baltid, Alpinid, Dinarid, Norid, East Nordid, Pontid and North Pontid.

However, the chart shows that North Caucasians are genetically closer to Middle Easterns rather than Eastern Europeans:

Baltid and East Nordid are not common among North Caucasians at all.

They are not genetically related to eastern Europeans but not much to middle easterners either, north caucasian cluster is on it's own.

But in the chart they are pretty close to Turks and Iranians. I considered greater Middle East. Not only Arabian Middle Easterns.

I think I screwed up when saying Baltid and East Nordid. Most of their faces are either Caucasid or Dinarid.

And the North Caucasians also have a lot of EHG which is why they also score tons of ANE (25 - 30%)
