aside from the joke, i think right now the eu should focus on the matters at hand. and maybe even dissolve the eurozone, especially for countries with weaker economies as we saw in the near past that it doesn't work.

so, if and when the union gets back to its old strong days, yes. i fully support.
if not, what does it matter anyway ?

a strong Christian nation would be good for the freaks in the EU. I want it disbanded altogether, but if I had to add someone for their sake Armenia would be a viable option.

I wouldn't mind them joining the EU. Armenia is a good friend of France. But the problem is that it's also a good friend of Russia, a powerful geopolitical ally.
Russia, provides hard security for Armenia, and they provide them with arms.
Armenia also relies heavily on Russia economically, Russia purchases all Armenian cheap wine and cognac that could hardly make their way into the European market. The Eurasian Economic Union means more to them.

And things didn't change with the Velvet Revolution earlier this year. Unlike Ukraine and Georgia, Armenia doesn't look to the West, on the contrary. His new PM Nikol Pashinian wants closer ties with Russia.
Thus a EU -membership is unlikely to happen for as much as I know.
