i have some questions though for people who know. LBK is a Early European Farmer component? if so is it half ENF/Near eastern, and half WHG or something? Or is it fully a european component? I would like to know because this test only gives me 11.68% south central asian (arab in my case) but if LBK were to be half near eastern and half european it'd make sense because then my percentages are very accurate.

What would you guys say?

loool. Then where's the SW Asian components in this test? Probably sucked into one of those european components like LBK? xD cause im pretty sure my EEF or Mediterranean whatever isnt any higher than 12.5-20% or so, and my northwestern european component is rather like 31-34% not 37% but yeah i dont know.

i find this a weird test xD maybe it makes more sense for other people but idk

Yes, probably sucked both in LBK and South-central Asian. Both of these contributed to Europeans and west Asians just in varying amounts. I guess this test doesn't work for you too well because it is designed for Europeans.

Yes, probably sucked both in LBK and South-central Asian. Both of these contributed to Europeans and west Asians just in varying amounts. I guess this test doesn't work for you too well because it is designed for Europeans.

Well true i suppose, because the other K7 ANE Eurogenes test on the website is suddenly way more accurate, i find tests with low K's to work best with my ethnicity, like K6 (Ancient eurasia K6 gedmatch) or K9 (rip eurasia K9 ASI xD) for example, if we get to K36 or K27 i am guaranteed to have incredibly european based results that make no sense according to my research and family tree xD

I dont think this test is made for people like me though. It also gives me fairly low SSA (26%) i think MyGenomeBox is by far the most accurate test ive taken lol, along with the K47 of yourDNAPortal.

would you say southcentral asian and LBK are partially west asian/sw asian ? if so, north african probably gets mixed into the two right? would make most sense for me.

Yeah that's true, i am anywhere inbetween 28-36% black african, 26% isnt too far off.

Maybe they mistake my Oromo Ethiopian ancestry for additional southwest asian or west asian ancestry, which is why it doesnt get clustered into SSA???

it isn't a "Negroid" population, its rather caucasoid so it could make sense.

and ooooh, well then it definitely makes sense. Europeans also score ENF or LBK but NW euros usually only score something like 25% LBK or something, i score 22%, and im half european, LOL

but yeah, i think some from my LBK should be removed and added to my southcentral asian, and then both percentages should be added to my african i think is the way to intepret it.

MyGenomeBox gave me 35.75% black african, and 5.97% something north african/arab mix.

Thats because commerical tests are bad, very mad. Myheritage should be taken 0% seriously. it gives me 6.1% middle eastern, 2.4% ashkenazi, 10% scandinavian (how the fuck, im 0% scandinavian XD) and some other dumb shit. infact, here. ill post my results for the world to see.

myheritage isnt much different from ancestryDNA except for the fact that they give me ashkenazi and middle eastern. the results are even more shitty than my ancestry results.

But then again, the "average" percentages ur given by ancestry arent accurate i think. It has a 50/50 chance of being accurate or completely off so i think i the worse results.

My African is within a range of 0% minimum to 51% maximum, so i cannot be more than 51% and i cannot be less than 0% lol, which isnt possible but ok. i still think MyGenomeBox nailed my african percentage, its the only test so far that gave me 36% black african percentage wise. probably due to good african samples for my ethnicbreakdown.

they probably included moroccan, ethiopian, central african, and west african samples for "african". but i asked a Riffian berber to also do the MyGenomeBox test, and he scored 33% southern europe, other european percentages, and only 10% african, LOL.

so that means maybe african is purely black african, who knows. Maybe i actually am 40% african but no test could pick up on it.

a lack of african samples doesnt mean u arent as african as u think, it just means the test cannot proof u are as african as u think because it lacks the samples. thats how tests work i think.

My African is within a range of 0% minimum to 51% maximum, so i cannot be more than 51% and i cannot be less than 0% lol, which isnt possible but ok. i still think MyGenomeBox nailed my african percentage, its the only test so far that gave me 36% black african percentage wise. probably due to good african samples for my ethnicbreakdown.

they probably included moroccan, ethiopian, central african, and west african samples for "african". but i asked a Riffian berber to also do the MyGenomeBox test, and he scored 33% southern europe, other european percentages, and only 10% african, LOL.

so that means maybe african is purely black african, who knows. Maybe i actually am 40% african but no test could pick up on it.

a lack of african samples doesnt mean u arent as african as u think, it just means the test cannot proof u are as african as u think because it lacks the samples. thats how tests work i think.

sure, it could be the "best" of all, but my DNA needs tests that doesnt break down and seperate tons of components and causes alot of overlap.

all it really needs is just a european, african, and asian catagory, with little to no indepth info, because tbh im not super interested in where my african comes from because i already know. now i need the percentages, and so far MyGenomeBox is better at it than AncestryDNA.

and yeah, the results are different but they are similar in that they both underestimate my african and overestimate my euro, i also got weird ass middle eastern percentages in Myheritage which make no sense. AncestryDNA gives me too many european populations too, as per usual.

i dont think 1% iberian, 1% irish, and 1% norwegian ACTUALLY exist in my DNA. its just noise, but they prefer to keep it in my result.

think about it, i am 3-8% moroccan, and 9-15% Ethiopian. Why do i only score 1-3% east african and no north african or middle eastern percentages? something went wrong there as far as i am concerned.

ancestry is more geared towards england/NW euro, just like Eurogenes from Gedmatch. i see alot of similarity between the two. Matter of fact is, even eurogenes K13 gives me better percentages xD i dont see how North african is so hard to seperate from Southern europe, i really dont see it.

sure they are both mediterranoid populations but Berbers have a different ethnic breakdown, they arent related to spaniards or french, or germanic europe as far as i am concerned.

^ 11.68% SC-asian = my north african ancestry. 3-4% should probably be removed from my LBK, which also belongs to my berber or ethiopian whatever so thats roughly 14.68-15.68% NA ancestry.

15.68 + 1.29 + 25.71% = 42.68% broadly african, Ethiohelix gives me 41.5% Fulani, and mygenomebox gives me 41.72% African i think. seems legit eitherway, reason why i removed the southeast asian is because my amerind isnt higher than 2%, maybe 0.20% should be added to my amerind but thats all there is to it

quite interesting test i gotta say, this does proof i am no more than 15%> north african though, which is accurate and fine with me.

i should be anywhere from 10-16% north african as far as i am concerned.

Yeah we must share ancestors, I suspect that I have ancestors coming from Sardinia, southern Italy or Greece because I often see a greater tendency of central med, east med and chg than the Spanish average. I suppose that the thing goes there, although also something of North African (could be due to the Phoenician colonies?).
Could also be that I get North African from my ancestors of Andalusia from muslim age (my gm have more north african) and the Italian or Greek (or jewish?) part from Valencia, difficult to know after so many generations after those events.

I need to look at the global25 of davidski that seems to be the most accurate to date.

This is not free though, i am 5% part Iberian that explain more the overall results. Don't know which place might be originated probably Spanish Central or Catalonia. will look for FTDNA.
