Mine's J1c2, it came from either Central or Eastern Europe or from the migration route from Syria/Anatolia to Europe. It is widespread throughout Europe along with the British Isles...and former British colonies as well.

As for my phenotype, I've been classified twice as Sub-Nordid.

My mtDNA is H13a1a1a. It appears to be most widely spread around the Caspian Sea and especially in the Caucasus. It´s found only rather sparsely in Europe. What´s scary is that when I just googled the mtDNA in question the results Google Image came up with were mostly images somehow related to this site... :rolleyes2: Anyway as for my phenotype Agrippa thought I was pred. (Skando)Nordid + minor Dalofaelid/Cromagnid as can be seen in the info on the left. :)

edit: Well for some reason 23andme won´t let me properly link a picture of the occurrence of the haplogroup, but here´s some info about it. lol I actually don´t think I´ve even myself yet read all of this properly. Anyway if anybody´s interested this is what it says:

Haplogroup H, the parent of H13, originated in the Near East and then expanded throughout Europe after the peak of the Ice Age. But H13 mostly stayed put. Today it is concentrated in the Caucusus and along the shore of the Caspian Sea, although a westward migration after the Ice Age has resulted in low levels of the haplogroup in Spain and Italy.

Haplogroup: H13, a subgroup of H

Age: more than 30,000 years

Region: Near East, Europe

Populations: Daghestanis, Near Easterners

Highlight: H13 is one of the most diverse branches of the H haplogroup.

It´s all about me. :wink

H1b

My phenotype? Some sort of generalized European with a Northern predominance, I guess.

One's mtDNA has very little to do with your phenotype though.
