I don't know why you think that. It is probably one of the most reliable runs available on Gedmatch. And as usual it reads by far the most SNPs out of all the projects avaible (~160,000 SNPs on average).

Ah, sure. Eurogenes projects focus mostly on native Europeans and usually works best with them.

Edit: Getting far distances on the oracles is completely normal having in consideration your ethnic background.

The only things i can say are reliable on that test is the fact that it pointed out my West asian ancestry to be Yemeni/Bedouin. That seems about correct.

But yeah, i don't know. Is it really normal to get more european based results on Eurogenes? Even though all other tests give me european percentages in the 43-55% range? Eurogenes usually gives me 69% or so, yet i am only 70%+ caucasoid (Arab + european). Does my arab component gets sucked into the european ones then? or how does it work lol

It doesn't work like that, some of your components peak among European populations but they can also be found among MENA individuals. If you run a Gedmatch kit of an Arab he won't get 100% Red Sea, it will get as well East Med, South Asian, SSA, East Med, West Asian, etc. Since you have many different ethnic backgrounds it is a blend of everything and it is not as easy to split your scores.

They seem accurate with what you claim though, you're about 70% Caucasoid according to this run.

Edit: i just went and ran the K36 test, it gave me 2.46% Near eastern, lol, and 1.17% north caucasian or whatever. But yeah. The rest is amerindian SSA and mostly european once again. Its exacty 68.68% european, so yeah roughly 70% caucasoid. Still strange why it doesnt give me my arab percentages though.. 30% is high enough to pick up on as far as i am concerned.

Not an expert but perhaps Eurogenes K36 and MDLP K23b. More detailed regional cluster populations than the other calculators. You may also want to try the Eurogenes K36 similarity tool map since K36 doesn't have an oracle.

Alright, i'll try out MDLP K23b next, Eurogenes K36 gave me 68.68% caucasoid so roughly 70% again. I'll see what MDLP gives me and if it picks up better on my arab ancestry lol, cause ive had this problem with eurogenes ever since i ran the first tests XD

There had been migration from and to the Levant back in the day when things like ethnicity and nations didn't exist. I know a Samaritan who scored 42% east-med.
