No actually, born and raised in Canada but my father is, or I can guess from the results, majority Native. My mother is full European; she was born and raised in Canada as well.

Your dad is pretty much Indio-mestizo being around 70% Amerindian. An average Mexican seems to be more like 50% NA or so.

Yeah, I have no idea where this is from but I suppose it checks out in both results. :confused:

Do you know if I could pinpoint any of the results? For example, could I check if my Scandinavian is Norwegian, Danish, Swedish or even Finnish, rather than just the broad region?

Near the populations there is a number that indicates your genetic proximity, you can consider yourself really close to a people if the number is less than 5. Overall, your closest people are the natives of California and Canada which makes sense considering your ancestry.

Judging from the results I would say Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark.

Do you know having real scandinavian ancestry? AncestryDNA is known for giving scandinavian always even when you have none - like me, I got 9% and have no real ancestry from there.

I know my maternal ancestors were from the British Isles but my family was never able to determine if they were actually British or just citizens with Scandinavian blood. I honestly don't know, I can't say I know for sure but also can't say I don't have any. My last name, Long, has some origins in Scandinavia, so maybe? It seems like a lot just to throw in?
