Let us consider Europe first: Which pairs have relatively smaller overall genetic distance? North Europeans to South Europeans or East Europeans to West Europeans?

As for Asia: Which pairs have relatively smaller overall genetic distance? North Asian to South Asians or East Asian to West Asians?

in europe at least genetically , from what we call "western europe" on genetic difference is not so big from North to South.

Hmm. You say Eastern Europeans are genetically more divergent than the rest?

From Belarus or Lithuania to Ireland, genetic distance is smaller than from Ireland to Spain or Italy.

But from Ireland to the Ural Region of Russia, genetic distance is larger than to Spain or to Italy.
