The slavophile I am, I've found myself crafting lots of felt Matryoshkas the past year. So I decided to buy some original Matryoshka patterns off the Web, which needless to say, came in Russian language.
While looking up Russian words, I stumbled upon "Tebe Interesno", which apparently translates into Are you interested. Google how I love thee.
Tebe Interesno is the artistic alias of Russian artist Dmitri Maximov, who combines illustration with photography creating a surreal and evocative interaction between live and inanimate objects.
To me, it speaks of solitude, subversion and magic.
Regardless of how one interpretates Maximov's work, I find it very appealing, so I'll share some of his work here.
