A close Sicilian match of mine on 23andme, who is estimated as my third cousin, her paternal lineage (discovered through male relatives who tested) is E-L29.
She is from Palermo.
Where does this peak?

Stems from E-M123 so it is of MENA origin perhaps near the Levant. Many subclades seem to be Jewish or linked to Jews

Ok so probably Jewish or Phoenician then.

Peaks in Jordan around the Dead Sea at like 1 in 3 people.
Not too common. 1 in 10 or maybe 1 in 8 amongst most Jewish populations. As much as 1 in 5 in some Ethiopian groups. Not too uncommon in Sicily and some other Med islands and other parts of the Levant (Palestinians, Lebanese, Copts, etc).

That's quite high..is the haplogroup linked to the old farmers of the Levant or something?

Yes, the Natufians were mostly bearers of clades upstream of E-L29.

It’s high in ancient Israelites. “According to the genetic analyses done on six Natufian remains from Northern Israel, the Natufians carried the Y-DNA haplogroup E-Z830, a slightly upwind clade of E-M123 (and therefore ancestral to it).[1] The Natufians were one of the first settled peoples in the world and may have contributed to the domestication of certain crops, and thus the advent of agriculture. The discovery of E-Z830 (without other clades) suggests an indigenous presence in Canaan and Israel that predates all other clades, which are not known to have existed in the region at the time (10,000 years before present). E-M123 is thought to have a MRCA about 4,750 years ago,[2] 5-6,000 years after the Natufian (possibly ancestral) remains are from, suggesting a South Levantine origin for M123 and subclades like M34 and M136.”

My Maternal Haplogroup is J1c and Paternal Haplogroup is E-L29 and it's clearly Jewish and roots coming from כֹּהֲנִים which is Sephardic kohaním blood line.

All humans originated in the Middle East, where Adam came from.
And spaniards with r1b siberia right? ;)
Well.. there is an R1b stronghold in Africa, too, around Chad, Cameroon. :)

E-L29 comes from E-Z830, originating at the Levant. Oldest Sample was found among the Natufians.
