She is close to the most "West Med" of south Italians: Abruzzo, Trapani, and Syracuse.

She lacks the heavy Near East, North Africa, Red Sea of modern south Italians, Cretans or Dodecanese but she would have landed in the cluster nearest Trapani.

MDLP K23: She is closest to Abruzzo, Trapani, Syracuse.

Actually Sicilians are not "heavily Near Easterners" compared to this woman. They do have an African component which Greeks lacked (probably related to Basal Eurasian or just North African), but the Near East isn't much higher.

I would estimate it is a matter of 1/8 less of it, because they can be modeled as Sicilian + 1/8 Sardinian.

Where was she from?

She's a woman who lived in Bavaria in the 6th century AD, her origins are not known but is thought to be Greek. From the paper:

Population genomic analysis of elongated skulls reveals extensive female-biased immigration in Early Medieval Bavaria

• STR_300, STR_502, and STR_310 showed substantial or complete non-central European ancestry
• Interestingly, five individuals (AED_1135, AEH_I, STR_300, STR_328, VIM_2) can be excluded from the blue-eyed haplotypes identified by Eiberg et al., but could not be conclusively assigned to one of the 6 commonly observed brown-eyed haplotypes
• The most likely geographic origins of STR_300 and STR_502 are Greece and Turkey respectively
• In addition non-deformed females were closer to IBS, TSI and Turkey and more distant to FIN, consistent with the increased southern European ancestry observed in STR_502 and STR_300

Despite this, she still scores 31% East Med on Eurogenes K15 xD So yeah, the Sicilians are not heavily Near Eastern admixed if compared to this girl.

My thoughts exactly. Perhaps she was a Greek from Magna Graecia, but then again perhaps she is representative of mainland Greeks prior to Thracian and Illyrian migrations into Greece.

IIRC the Mycenaeans would get south Italians and Sicilians in their oracles first too, just like this woman

They based that hypothesis on her genome.
