In this Y DNA and MT DNA maps, it might show that the claim might be true:

Is the claim true? What do you think?

Yes, there is definitely some Steppe admixture in Altai people, also y- and mtdna are diverse with both Caucasoid and Mongoloid ones.
No. They don't have any Iranic admixture. When Turks were created, they were already mixture between Caucasoid and Mongoloid race. Also Iranic never lived in Siberia.
Altai people are one of most Mongoloid Turkic groups. Also interestingly, they have 51.5 % Caucasoid Y-Dna, and most of their Mongoloid ancestry comes from maternal side as it seems.

We have DNA from Pazyryk Scythians that show Scythians went as far as Western Mongolia and mixed with the local populations, native people of Altais were Proto-Turkic and dominantly Mongoloid if not fully, Scythians mixed with them and passed down the nomadic culture.

Where does Caucasoid DNA otherwise come from? Most of Central Asia was Iranic until Genghis Khan destroyed the region.

Where does the Caucasoid component of Altia people come from then? From Persians, from Slavs, from Celts, from Armenians, from Greeks, from Dutch, from Germans, from French, from Italians or else?
