According to the Treaties of Wehlau-Bydgoszcz signed in 1657 (in which Poland agreed to renounce its sovereignity over Ducal Prussia to the Brandenburgian branch of the House of Hohenzollern), in case of the termination or extinction of the Brandenburgian Hohenzollern dynasty in the male line, it was agreed that Ducal Prussia (later known as East Prussia) should pass on to Poland.

This termination in fact happened in November 1918, with the abdication of Kaiser Wilhelm II.

So based on the treaties signed in 1657, entire East Prussia should have been incorporated to Poland in 1919.

It seems that nobody remembered about those provisions from 1657 during the Paris Peace Conference?
