As far as i'm aware, he has no band. He is a solo artist. The people behind him are obviously Gypsies, and they are an orchestra that's part of the show he is on.

A lot of Yörüks lived around Stip. Even today there are some settlements of Yörüks near Stip.

He does not look Turkic to me.
