Depending on the calculator though. The ones having a Gedrosia-Baloc-SC Asian component then yes pretty close other calculators give different results.

20 79.9% Abhkasian + 20.1% Bedouin @ 3.56
The sample was R1b-Z103+ and not typically Indo-Iranian R1a-Z93 probably indicating a Northern or Western source of his Steppe input, hence the lack of South Asian and higher Med. Though he differs from modern day Caucasus people in that his source of "West Asian" probably was more so Iran_N-like rather than CHG which is why he scores so high Baloch/Gedrosia.

Early Iranians = Srubna, Andronovo, Sintashta
Early Iranians == Europeans
Modern Iranians = Early Iranians + Iran_Chl

Of course Sassanid Iranians are Modern people of Iran, was that even questionable?
Nobody destroyed Iranian people, just religion changed.
Same with Egypt, Syria etc..

First PIE Persian speakers were dolychocephalid, white looking Europoid people. They had a steppe culture, they used metals actively and developed wheel so they had a supremacy against the native agriculturalist folk of the Iranian plateau. They assimilated them and gave them their own culture, also after interacting with the Semitic Assyrians.
Modern Iranians would thus actually descend from those Achaemenids and Sasanids (Parthians weren't ethnic Persians, they were different folk).
Iranians aren't all like the unusual Sasani Shah Kavadh (Gavat)... Persians would understand what that means xD

West Iranic groups aren't even direct descendants of those Indo-Iranians, but instead got their ancestry from Yaz / BMAC which was only around 40 - 60% Indo-Iranian of origin genetically.
Anyways, the story of assimilation can be applied not only to Iranians, but Turks, Slavs, etc.

I can't see the PCA on my phone, but I always figured this was the case. Interestingly enough, some Iranians cluster with ancient Caucasus cultures such as some Late Maykop ones.

Which proves the point that Iranians are not mixed with the Arabs nor they had been White and shit like that. It's good that there is genetic continuity similar to the Greeks and their Mycenaean ancestors.

It seems to me that most ethnic groups seem like a continuation of their bronze age counterparts.
