He even looks like the early American caricature of Irish people. You can't confuse him with anything other than Irish. It's rare that you see a Western European who fits nowhere else but one country.

I don't think he looks distinctly Irish.

Distinctly Irish would be someone like Conan O'Brien or Ed Sheeran.

He looks part Neanderthal.

But then again, so do a lot of MMA fighters for some reason.

No, Conan could pass as Scottish. Ed could pass as Welsh or English.

What I mean is I do not see how the man you posted couldn't also pass as German, or Dutch, or English. I don't see him and immediately think Irish.

He would stick out like a sore thumb in those countries with the exception of England... but that is because there are tons of Irish people in England. Only reason.

And because Irish people from Central and North Leinster, as well as Ulster, have a lot of British ancestry.

He would beat the phuck out of 99% of the human population. Never mess with true Irishmen.

There are many different typical Irish looks, but he has the one that is far more rare, yet undeniably Irish. The anti-Irish propaganda posters of early America show this type clearly, albeit exaggerated to dehumanize them. The thin top lip with pronounced mouth. Short flat nose with pointy tip.

Yeah he's a beast. Easily one of the top 3 in his weight class, and never puts on a boring fight.

I have seen Vice President of sales and marketing Irish guys blow up a pub with fists. Don't ever phuck with Irish.

Felder isn't an Irish name. Sounds German. He doesn't look specifically Irish to me. Someone like Colm Meaney or the late Martin McGuinness have a more Irish look and they are actually Irish. :)

He was born to Irish American parents in Philadelphia. That's Irish.

It isn't. How "Irish American" were his parents? 100% of Irish stock? I doubt it. Still, he's more American than anything else, even Irish.

I forgot where I read it, but I believe his parents, or grandparents were literally from Ireland. Maybe he said it in an interview. He's either 2nd gen or 3rd.

He might have a German grandparent or be half Irish on each side, like how Lindsay Lohan is half Irish from each parent. Felder is a German surname.

Ever been to Ireland?

So? There's English, Scottish, Huguenots, etc. in Ireland.

Yes I have. BTW, surname means very little in terms of physical characteristics. Do black men with Irish surnames look Irish? Do adopted children's surnames mean anything in relation to their looks? Does he look "German" at all, NOPE.
