The bulk of the population of modern day Iraq is post-Mongol invasions. Which is why Iraqi Arabs turn out as a mix of Iranians/Kurds + Bedouins and not say Mandean/Assyrian/Iraqi Jewish + Bedouin. There's no Mesopotamian blood in modern Iraqi Arabs, not even those from around Mosul and Tigrit.

Iraqi territory was heavily Persianized during the Sassanian era, Tisfun (Baghdad) was the Sassanian capital. So Persian presence predates Bedouin.

They are labeled quite accurately, there are Assyrians, Kurds and Yzidis labeled and score close to the Assyrian/Kurdish averages like one would imagine.
Sure lets say less than half are ethnic Arabs even though I doubt that. Then why are they still so uniformly Iranian + either Bedouin or Syrian/Palestinian?

The samples are most likely of Iraqi Kurds. Iraqi Kurds usually show slight Arab shift which makes sense, but otherwise it's very different. I doubt most of these Iraqi Arabs are Bedouins. They might be some Iraqi Arabs. Iraqi Bedouins especially those from Western Iraq would be closer to Yemenite Jews and show slight Levantine influence rather than Iranic one. I also believe that Iraqis from the deep south would also score more Arabian, but those in the center for sure will have strong Iranian influence due to historical reasons.

I'm pretty sure there isn't many samples of Bedouin Iraqis and those I've seen were 2/3 Saudi and 1/3 Iranian at most.
