Is it really? I mean, I know that cro-magnons came outside of Europe which were the progenitors of the modern day Caucasoid peoples worldwide be it from Europe to the Middle East.

Well I can't be one hundred per cent sure but most genetic papers I have read seem to indicate it. Modern ethnic Basques (particularly French Basques since most samples are from them) also seem to have the highest proportion of indigenous European admixture.
